* The Old
and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and
authoritative Word of God. In the Word, we find the
revelation of God's eternal and unchanging will for men of
all ages. The Word is the divine and final authority for the
Christian life.
*
There is one God, the creator of all
things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in
three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit.
* Jesus Christ is the union of
God and man. He is true God and true man, conceived of the
Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless
life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of
all men. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven
and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father as
our high priest and advocate. Jesus will return to rule and
reign for evermore.
* Man was created in the image of
God, but fell into sin, which resulted in his spiritual
death and separation from God. Only through regeneration by
the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be
obtained. This process of regeneration, referred to as being
"born again" in the Word, takes place through a combination
of faith and confession. As a person makes the decision to
believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and
confesses with his mouth the lordship of Jesus in his life,
a miracle of regeneration by the Holy Spirit takes place. A
new Christian is born in to the kingdom of God. For him, old
things are passed away and all things are new.
* Water baptism and communion are
ordinances by the church during the present age. They are
not, however, to be confused with or regarded as a means of
salvation. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His
resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and
salvation.
* The present day ministry of the
Holy Spirit is to comfort and guide the believer, with the
final purpose of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ in the
earth. During this age, He indwells, guides, instructs, and
empowers the believer for godly living and service. Every
believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit, with
speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence.
* Every born again, Spirit-filled
believer should maintain a consistent prayer life by praying
frequently with their understanding and in their heavenly
language.
* Without faith it is impossible
to please God. The Word tells us that the just (those who
have been justified by the blood of Jesus) shall live by
faith. The redemptive work of Jesus not only provided
salvation for the beleiver, but also healing and prosperity
for our spirit, soul, and body. We are redeemed from the
curse of the law---poverty, sickness, oppression, and any
other thing that prevents us from fulfilling His plan. Our
lives can be prosperous and healthy in every realm as we
walk in the light of the redemption by faith in God's Word.
* The universal church is
comprised of all those who are born again. Through the new
birth, we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus
Christ is the Lord and head of the church, and has provided
leadership for the local church through the ministry gifts,
which only He can give. Every local church has the right,
under Christ, to decide and govern its own affairs.

Bishop Dr. Okey & Senior Pastor Marjorie
Nichols
-
Bishop Dr. Okey Nichols founded Working Faith Ministries in
March 2009. The ministry was started in Fort Lauderdale as a
home ministry. We grew to about 50 people and needed a
larger space. GOD's plan for us was bigger than we could
ever imagine. In May 2011, Working Faith Ministries merged
with Unfailing Love Ministries and began holding services in
a community center. With no idea where God would send us, we
began a search for a church facility, and through miraculous
events GOD led us to Lake Placid in July 2011. We took
occupancy of our new church in December 2011 and after many
renovations we had our grand opening May 27, 2012. "My
passion is to help GOD's people lead victorious lives and to
help them achieve their destiny and answer GOD's calling.
The prophetic vision over my life is to be the restorer of
light. At WFM we believe in all cultures working together."
Bishop Dr. Okey and his wife, Senior Pastor Marjorie have
been married since 1980 and have two grown children,
Timothy and Stacey. "I give special thanks to GOD and to all
who have helped make this journey possible."
-
Senior
Pastor Marjorie is truly the mother of Working Faith
Ministries. God's love flows through her. "My greatest
desire is to love the unlovable, and to be there for them in
their time of need. God's love can break any chain that
holds you down. I thank God for the opportunity to be a
pastor and to serve Him. I have watched GOD do many, many
miracles in my life and he has called me to battle for your
restoration. At Working Faith Ministries, we believe in a
faith that works." Senior Pastor Marjorie is married to
Bishop Dr. Okey and they have two children, Timothy and Stacey.

Pastor
Donna McLaughlin
-
Pastor Donna McLaughlin and her husband, Larry,
moved to Lake Placid, Florida, from Kalamazoo, Michigan, in
March of 2014, after sensing the leading of Gods to sell
their home, give away their possessions and begin a new
season of life in Lake Placid, Florida. Pastor Donna
connected with Working Faith Ministries and with the vision
of Bishop Dr. Okey Nichols in October of that year and realized
that God was planting her here. The commitment of this
ministry to exhibit the character of Christ to others
through love, to serve the community and to equip God's
people to live victoriously resonated with the passion of
her heart. "My life revolves around an intimate relationship
with God. I fell deeply in love with Jesus in 1987 and I
delight in helping others experience Him and fall in love
with Him. I am committed to advancing God's Kingdom on the
earth and to seeing others succeed in their God-given
destiny and purpose." Pastor Donna joined the pastoral staff
of Working Faith Ministries in July of 2015 and also
oversees the Children's Ministry. She previously served as
part of the pastoral staff of Christian Life Center/Stones
Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan for 16 years and was ordained
there in 2007. She received her B.A. from Dr. Marin Luther
College in New Ulm, Minnesota and her Masters Degree from
Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan, both in the field of
education. She is also a graduate of Dale Carnegie
Instructor Training, New York, N.Y., World Harvest Bible
College, Columbus, Ohio, and Dominion School of Supernatural
Ministry and Leadership in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is
married to Larry, her husband of 41 years. They are the
parents of four adult children: Douglas, Mark, Jonathon and
Peggy and 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Mary and twins, Greta and
Charlie.
